If you need an assistant that matches transactions, detects discrepancies, and suggests corrective actions (and also, be autonomous) you’re in the right place. But before the magic happens, here’s a step-by-step guide to get everything installed and ready to go in Excel. Let’s dive in!
First, as always, the origin of the universe…
🌱 What is the Reconciliation Agent in Excel?
Easy-peasy: It’s an Excel Add-in that matches transactions across different tables.
In other words, it automates financial data analysis, surfaces insights that support strategic decision-making, and significantly reduces the time spent on manual and repetitive tasks.
As finance professionals, much of our time goes into matching balances and finding/correcting discrepancies. How do we usually handle this? By exporting data to Excel, manually highlighting rows that match, then going back into the system to analyze and correct transactions.
Well… if you need an assistant that matches transactions, detects discrepancies, and suggests corrective actions, this is your new best friend. 😉
It helps you spend less time on tedious tasks and more time reviewing smart suggestions; so you just focus on approving and applying the fixes.
And the best part? It all happens in seconds, or even fully automatically with the Agent.
These agents are not just assistive (providing help when you need it), but also autonomous; capable of performing reconciliations on their own to boost efficiency even further.
